You are viewing a Natural Gas Bunsen Burner, new, sealed in a clear plastic bag so unused, small sticker stating for use with Natural Gas,
has a collar around where the jet is located to control air flow so controlling operating temperature,
moulded in the casting under the base 'Made in England'
Being natural gas, these can operate without the need of having seperate bottle gas, however normal safety procedures need to be observed while operating this piece of apparatus and a suitable level of operator training, be careful not to burn yourself
Ideal for the hobbyist wanting to heat items to a high temperature or as a spare for the experienced laboratory technician, a usual configuration is with a triangular three legged stand and a piece of gauze to heat liquid in a glass flask, test tube or beaker, uses can include but not limited to; glass sculpture, dental repairs and manufacture, enamelling and jewellery repairs
